How freeze-dried banana is produced
Fresh bananas are washed, skinned, and cut to the required width. Banana cuts are placed on sheets and then into the freeze-drying machine. They undergo sublimation and desorption for 18 to 30 hours to lose nearly all their water while retaining 99% of their nutrients.
